Social Media Management for Small Businesses.

Social media helps people discover your business, see what you do, and get to know you before they become customers. Whether you’re a contractor showing finished projects, a restaurant sharing what’s on the menu, or a shop introducing new products, regular posts give people a reason to notice your business and remember it.

Good social media starts with choosing the right platforms and sharing content that represents your business. We use your own photos and videos to create posts, write the captions, and schedule them when your audience is online. You don’t need to come up with something clever to say every day. You give us a view of what’s happening in your business, and we turn it into content worth sharing.

Posting regularly is only part of the job. On our Growth and Plus plans, we also respond to comments and messages, helping you stay connected with people who show an interest. We track how your posts perform and use what we learn to improve the content. But likes and followers aren’t the end goal. We want to help people become familiar with your business, visit your website, and ultimately become customers.

Plans start at $300 a month for two platforms. One-time setup is $100 per platform if needed. No long-term contracts.

Start with the goal

What Should Social Media Do for Your Business?

Social media can help people discover your business, see the quality of your work, buy your products, stay informed, or get to know you before making contact. Those are different goals, and the right approach depends on what matters most to your business.

We start by understanding what you want to accomplish, then look at where your customers spend time and what content you can regularly share. More platforms isn’t always better. What matters is having a clear purpose for each account and giving people something worthwhile to see.

  • Get enquiries

Help potential customers discover your business and feel confident enough to get in touch.

  • Show your work

Let people see your projects, products, skills, and the quality of what you do.

  • Sell products

Introduce products, explain their benefits, and help interested shoppers find your store.

  • Stay connected

Keep regular customers informed about what’s new, what’s available, and what’s happening.

  • Build credibility

Share useful knowledge and real examples that help people understand why they should trust you.

Your business may have more than one goal. We’ll help you decide which matter most and what kind of content supports them.

Where to start

Where We’d Start for Your Business.

These are starting points based on the type of business you run. Choose yours to see which platform we’d start with, what we’d consider adding, and what we’d post.

You can always add another platform later. We’d rather see a few accounts kept active with useful content than many accounts that rarely get updated.

Home services and trades

Show good work. Give people confidence to call.

Purpose: Help homeowners see the quality of your work and feel comfortable contacting you.

Where we’d start

Facebook

A useful place to maintain a local business presence, share completed jobs, and give people something to check when your name comes up in a recommendation.

Also worth considering

Instagram

Gives you a visual portfolio of your work, especially for projects where the finished result makes a strong impression.

Worth adding if you regularly have good project photos, before-and-after images, or short clips to share.

What we’d post

Using your own photos and clips
Post 1
Completed project

A recent job, what the customer needed, and what you did.

Post 2
Before and after

Show the difference your work made.

Post 3
Homeowner tip

Answer a common question about repairs, maintenance, or your trade.

What success looks like

People see evidence of your work, visit your website, and make relevant enquiries. Social media may help them choose you even when they first found you through search or a recommendation.

These are starting points, not fixed formulas. Every plan includes two platforms. We’ll recommend the right combination based on your goals, your customers, and the content you can supply.

Understanding the platforms

What Each Platform Is Good At.

Every platform has its own strengths and limitations. Some are useful for showing your work, some for explaining what you do, and others for staying connected with customers or professional contacts.

The question isn’t which platform is best overall. It’s which ones make sense for your business, and whether you have the material to keep them active. Select a platform to see what we’d recommend posting and what you should expect.

Local presence and customer updates

Facebook

Good for

Local businesses that want to stay visible to existing customers, share useful updates, and have a credible page people can check when they hear about the business.

What we’d post

Completed jobs, customer stories, community news, new products, events, specials, and everyday business updates.

What to expect

A useful place to maintain your local presence and keep customers informed. Organic business page posts may reach only a small audience, especially when the page is new. Local recommendations and community conversations can matter, but posting to your page doesn’t automatically put you into those conversations.

What it needs from you

Photos of your work, products, or business, plus regular updates about what’s happening. Short videos are useful too, but not essential for every post.

Choose it if: You serve a local community and want a reliable place to show what you do and keep customers informed.

We create posts from your own photos and videos. On YouTube and TikTok, every scheduled post is a short video edited from clips you supply. Google Business Profile is managed separately through our SEO plans.

Setup

Getting Your Social Accounts Ready.

Before we start posting, we make sure your accounts look professional, represent your business accurately, and make it easy for customers to find you. If your existing pages are already in good shape, there’s no need to pay for setup again.

Your accounts, in your name

We set up Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or TikTok accounts for your business. On a short call, you create any logins that require your identity and add LocalForge as a manager. We take care of the rest. The accounts always belong to you.

A complete business profile

We write your bio or business description, add your logo and branding, and complete the important profile information. Someone visiting your page should quickly understand what your business does and how to contact you.

Connected to your website

We add links to your website and make sure people can find the right place to learn about your services, contact you, or shop. Your social accounts should help customers take the next step, not leave them wondering where to go.

Products connected for online shops

If you sell products online, we connect your product catalog to Facebook and Instagram where their shopping features are available. This creates the foundation for showing and tagging products in your posts.

Your first post

We prepare and publish an introductory post using your business’s own material. It gives visitors something useful to see when they first arrive and establishes the direction for future posts.

Setup is $100 per platform, charged once. If you already have complete, well-presented accounts with the right connections in place, we skip the setup charge.

The plans

Three Plans. Straightforward Pricing.

Every plan includes posts created from your own photos and videos, captions and hashtags written for each platform, scheduling, and monthly reporting. The difference is how often we post and how much ongoing engagement, video editing, and planning we handle.

On YouTube and TikTok, each scheduled post is a short video edited from clips you supply, including on Starter and Growth. Stories are shared on platforms that support them, such as Facebook and Instagram. Product tagging is available where the platform and your shop are eligible. Every plan includes two platforms. All prices are monthly, except the optional one-time setup charge. Each additional platform receives the posting frequency and services included in your chosen plan. Plans are month to month, with no long-term contract or exit fee.

Every plan

What Every Plan Includes.

Whichever plan you choose, we take care of the essentials.

Content from your business

We use your own photos, videos, products, and projects to create posts that accurately represent what you do. A completed job, a new arrival, or a look behind the scenes can all give customers something worthwhile to see. We don’t invent work you’ve done or pretend that stock images are your own.

Captions and hashtags

We write the text that goes with each post, explaining what people are seeing and why it matters. We also choose relevant hashtags where they’re useful. The wording is adapted to the platform rather than copying the same caption everywhere.

Scheduling and publishing

We prepare and schedule posts in advance, choosing times when your audience is likely to be online. You don’t need to remember to log in and post throughout the week.

Your approval before we start

We prepare your first month’s content and send it to you for approval before anything goes out. This gives you a chance to check that the photos, wording, and overall approach feel right for your business.

Accounts that belong to you

Your social accounts remain in your name, and you control who has access. LocalForge works through manager permissions. You can remove our access whenever you choose.

Monthly reporting

Each month, we show you what was published, how your posts performed, and what people responded to. Growth and Plus reports also highlight which content worked best and what we recommend doing more of.

How it works

How It Works.

Month 1

Get Everything Ready

We start by understanding your business, your customers, and what you want social media to accomplish. We look at the accounts you already have, talk through the platforms that make sense, and review the photos and videos available to us. We also discuss the kinds of things you can share regularly, whether that’s completed projects, new products, customer questions, or everyday work.

If your accounts need setting up, we do that first. We complete your profiles, add your branding and website links, and connect your products where appropriate. You retain ownership and give us manager access.

We then prepare your first month’s posts, including the images or videos, captions, and publishing schedule. You review and approve them before they go out. Once approved, we begin publishing according to your plan.

Month 2

Find What Connects

With the accounts running, we continue creating and publishing your posts. On Growth and Plus, we’re also responding to comments and messages according to your plan, and sharing posts to Stories where supported.

Your first reports help us understand what people are responding to. Some posts may attract more attention, while others may lead people to ask questions or visit your profile. We look at those differences and use them to guide the next month’s content.

We also learn what works best for your business in practical terms. If project photos are easy for you to supply but video is harder to get, we take that into account rather than building a schedule around material you can’t regularly provide.

Month 3 and Beyond

Keep Improving

We continue posting, managing engagement where included, and reviewing results each month. Over time, we get a clearer picture of the topics, images, and formats that connect with your audience. We use that information to make the next set of posts more useful and relevant.

On Social Plus, we also prepare a new content plan every three months and meet with you each month to review results and priorities. For every plan, the goal is a social presence that stays active, represents your business well, and gets better as we learn what works.

Social media takes consistency. Some posts may do well quickly, while others receive little attention. We don’t promise that every post will bring new customers. We focus on the work we can control and use the results to make sensible improvements.

Our terms

Clear Terms. No Social Media Tricks.

No long-term contracts

Pay month to month and cancel any time, with no exit fee. You aren’t locked into a package if your needs change.

Your accounts stay yours

Accounts are created in your name, and you retain control of them. We work through manager access, which you can remove at any time. The posts we create for your business remain yours.

Setup only when needed

The one-time setup fee is $100 per platform. If your existing accounts are already in good shape, we skip it. We won’t charge you to recreate something that already works.

No bought followers or fake engagement

We don’t buy followers, likes, comments, or views. Artificial numbers don’t tell you whether real customers are interested in your business. We focus on genuine content and real interactions.

No surprise extras

Paid advertising, photo shoots, original video filming or production, and influencer campaigns are not included. We edit posts and short videos from the material you provide. Google Business Profile is managed separately through our SEO plans.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

Do I need to provide photos and videos?

Yes. We create your posts using photos and videos from your actual business, so we’ll need you to supply material regularly. That might be pictures of completed work, new products, your shop, or clips from a job in progress. You don’t need professional photography, but clear, useful images make a difference. If you’re short on material, we’ll help you identify what would be useful to capture next.

What if I already have social media accounts?

We can work with the accounts you already use. We’ll review them first and let you know whether anything needs improving. If your profiles, branding, and website links are already in good shape, there’s no setup fee. You simply add us as a manager so we can begin preparing your posts.

Will I get to approve the posts?

Yes. Before we begin publishing, you’ll review and approve the first month’s posts. This gives you a chance to correct details, request changes, and make sure the content sounds like your business. After that, we use the approved direction to prepare and schedule future posts.

Do you answer comments and private messages?

On Social Growth, we answer comments and messages on weekdays. On Social Plus, we handle them every day, including weekends. Social Starter covers posting and reporting, but not replying to comments or messages. We’ll agree with you on how to handle enquiries, pricing questions, and anything that needs your personal attention. We won’t invent answers or make commitments on your behalf.

Can you make videos for my business?

We can edit short videos from clips you supply. On YouTube and TikTok, the posts in every plan are short videos, so we’ll need enough suitable footage for the posting schedule. Social Plus also includes a weekly edited short video. We don’t come to your business to film or produce original footage, but we can help you understand what kinds of clips to capture.

Can you help sell products through social media?

Yes, if you have an online shop. During setup, we connect your products to Facebook and Instagram where the platforms support it and your shop is eligible. On Growth and Plus, we can tag products in posts so customers can find what you’re showing. We don’t manage your online store or process orders as part of the social media plan.

How long does it take to see results?

You’ll have an active, regularly updated presence once we begin publishing. Building an audience and seeing meaningful business results can take longer. It depends on your starting point, the platforms, the content you can provide, and how people respond. We’ll track the results each month, but we won’t promise a particular number of followers, views, enquiries, or sales.

Can you manage my social media if LocalForge didn’t build my website?

Yes. Our social media plans are available to any business, whether LocalForge built your website or someone else did. We’ll need access to the social accounts we’re managing and a link to your existing website. You don’t need to change your website or hosting to work with us.
